Major league baseball owners have blinked in their stand-off with the Major League Baseball Players Association. After answering the players 114 game proposal for resuming the season with 50 games, owners now have proposed 76 games. But, in return owners want a playoff that includes half the league, 16 teams. The players would also not get any more money for the longer playoff season. Players have said no increases in revenues is a non-starter
