KHSL-FM (103.5 FM, "The Blaze"), is home of the famous BLAZE “RIG”. The Blaze is the markets Number 1 radio station, playing hit country since 1976. It is locally owned and operated by Deer Creek Broadcasting LLC. The station's general manager is longtime Chico media personality Dino Corbin, who served as general manager at KHSL-TV for over 20 years. The program director and morning personality is Chico’s own Mike Wessels. Scott Michaels hosts the "Drive Home" and Bry Melendez covers mid days.
