John-Eric Hernandez-Chico State Baseball

Hernandez is considered the greatest pitcher in the history of the Chico State Baseball program. With a program record 41 wins, he leads the program in several pitching categories and ranks in the top ten several others. Nicknamed "Gilligan" because he was from Catalina Island, Hernandez excited crowds from 1997-2000 leading the Wildcats to three trips to the Division II College World Series capturing two national titles. We talk with Hernandez about his time in the Cardinal and White.....his memories and his surprising choice for greatest team in Wildcat baseball history.
