The Chico State men's and women's Cross Country teams make their way to Bellingham, Washington for their final tune up race before
CCAA action begins. The women are ranked 2nd in the West and 14th in the Nation. The race gives the Wildcat women a second bite of the apple against
Simon Fraser who out-distanced them at the SF State Invite a few weeks ago. It also gives Head Coach Gary Towne a final look at his runners and who will carry the mantle in conference meets.....
For the Chico State men a great barometer as they take on a tough Simon Fraser squad as well......the perrenial power in Chico State is ranked number one in the West and 5th in the country.
Two-time All-American Wyatt Baxter will make his season debut for Chico State after missing the first two races with an injury; and the team will be covering 10 kilometers after opening the season with consecutive 8k races.
