High School Football start times pushed back because of heat and smoke

Numerous high school football games are being pushed back on Friday because of the scorching temperatures expected all day Friday. Making matters worse are  the fires that are choking the valley making the air quality dangerous.

Despite the unhealthy conditions there does not appear to be any plans to cancel or postpone the Friday night games. The only game that is being postponed is Trinity versus Arcata. That game has been moved to Saturday afternoon in McKinleyville.

Tonight’s High School Football Game of the Week features  Live Oak versus Durham. We will have the game at 8:30pm tonight and we will also bring you high school football on Saturday night as the Oroville Tigers host the Paradise Bobcats. That game will also come your way at 8:30pm on the KpaySports app and right here on KpaySports.com
